About Prep-Squad´09

The Prep-Squad is an NLAA talent identification and developmental program to identify and support track and field athletes with potential to make primarily the 2009 Canada Games Team but also the 2013 Canada Summer Games Team. The goal of the program is to create conditions for the athletes to achieve their best at the Games, provide fund raising opportunity and to support our best athletes attend out-of-province designated complections. There is no team fee to join this program. The Prep-Squad´09 will cease to exist once the 2009 Canada Games Team is announced.

Joining the NLAA Prep-Squad is by invitation only.

• Prep-Squad Expectations
  • Commitment to training and competition.
  • Athletes selected to the Prep-Squad must act in Accordance of the "Athlete Agreement" contract.
  • Maintain Membership with the NLAA
  • Continue Regular Training within their own club and personal coach
  • Participate regularly at track and field events
  • Wear Team Uniform during designated team competitions
