School Meet Organizers
- Hershey´s Event Manager - Register your event with the Hershey´s Track ´ Field Games site! They have created a special area for Organizers with everything you need to run and promote a track ´field event. Simply register your event to gain access to flyers, ads, banners and radio scripts that you can customize for your local event. You´ll also find useful tools like assignment grids, job duties sheets and entry forms. Plus they will post your event information on their Web site.

- Meet Organizers must announce via the school PA system the date and time of Hershey School Tryouts. They should also make available an information poster and sign-up sheets so that any interested students can register for the tryouts. Students should not be charged any fees to take part in the school tryouts.
- Organizers must fill out this form and submit to the NLAA Provincial Office the date of their Meet at least one week before the meet is scheduled.
- Submit to the NLAA office the following information immediately after their meet (Please use this report form
) :
- Date and location of the event
- List of meet organizing committee/group
- Total number of participants
- Total number of volunteers
- Complete meet results ranking all participants. Results must be sent via courier or hand-delivered (scanned and e-mail is acceptable) to be received by the NLAA office immediately following the local meet or at the time of registration for the Provincial Final.
- A School Qualifying Meet should preferably be organized according to the "Official Rules" of the Hershey´s Track and Field Youth Program. Upon request, School Meet Organizers can obtain a copy of the "OFFICIAL Rule Book & Manual - 2010".
- Only the top 3 girls and 3 boys finishers in each event and age-group are eligible to advance to the Provincial Final. Athletes that have finished below 3rd place are not be eligible to participate in the Provincial Final even if a child placed in the top 3 is unable to compete.
- All athletes that advance to the Provincial Final must have their age verified at the School level competition.
- A student may compete (tryout) in up to three events (this may be two running events - includes relays - and a field event or two field events and a running event). A participant may not compete in up to three running events.
- A participant may enter only in one Local Meet.
