Start and finish locations reversed!
Due to potential traffic related issues, we have reversed the start and finish locations. The race will now start on The Tower Corporate Campus (Littledale) access road and finish very close to the intersection of Southside Road and Bay Bulls Road.
Details
- The race starts on the Littledale access road going west
- Turn east (left) at Waterford Bridge Rd
- Turn right on Bay Bulls Bridge
- continue east on Southside Rd to a turn-around point past the HMCS Cabot
- turn back, going west on Southside Rd to the finish line, approximately 50m before reaching the Bay Bulls Rd.
Parking
Race participants can use the gravel parking lot across from the Corpus Christi Parish.

- Fee: $25.00 ($20.00 NLAA members) Entry fee for non-NLAA members includes $5 One Day Race Permit
Location: Toyota Plaza, 73 Kenmount Road, St. John´s, - from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010.
Online registration deadline: Thursday, June 17, 2010.
Race number pick up on the parking lot across from the Corpus Christi Parish - 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2010.

- Eligibility
- The race is open to paid-up or one-day members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association (NLAA). Runners not yet registered for 2010 can obtain NLAA memberships at race registration desk prior to entry into the race. Annual NLAA Road Race membership is $25.00. One Day event Permit is $5.00. Registration for NLAA can also be done at Toyota Plaza at time of race pre-registration.
- Timex Provincial Series
- This is race # 4 of the Timex® Provincial Road Race Series, where runners are awarded points according to their finishing positions, and score these points leading to year-end awards.
- Water Stations
- Along the course there will be water stations at approximately 2.5km, 5km and 7.5km markers.

- Medals will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers in each of seven age groups (Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & over)
- Draw Prizes - PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY RACE PARTICIPANTS CAN CLAIM TIMEX WATCHES AND TOYOTA PLAZA T-SHIRTS. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRESENT DURING THE DRAW TO CLAIM A PRIZE.
- Seven Timex® watches will be drawn from a list of all finishers.
- Toyota Plaza technical t-shirts.
- Reception
- All participants are invited to a complimentary Continental Breakfast at Laurier Lounge - 301 Hamilton Avenue (across the street from Orthotic Aids on LeMarchant Road), St. John´s. There will be a Continental Breakfast served with tea, coffee and juice. Lots of prizes will be drawn. Doors will open at 10:30 am and awards presentation will begin at 11:00 am sharp.
