Registration Information

Late Registration (Friday, Apr 17)

• Late registrations are subject to a late fee of $10.
• Late registration and payment completed online before the late registration deadline - 1:00 pm, Friday, Apr 17.
• Late entries will be assigned in empty lanes after the START LISTS are posted. Should there be no empty lanes in a section, the late participant(s) will be assigned to a new section running alone or grouped.

Clubs

• Club name missing from the online registration form? Only NLAA Affiliated Clubs are listed in the online Team form.
• Participants from clubs not listed must select Unattached Newfoundland And Labrador (UNNL).

During the Meet

Athletes should be ready to compete shortly after they are called to the start. Practice time before each start will be kept to a minimum of 1-2 minutes.

Entries / Fees / Payment

• Online Registration & Payment.
  No in-person, on-site registration. No telephone entries. No faxes. No entries by e-mail.
• A Team Coach or a designate can register several athletes at one time.
  Before a TEAM COACH begins the online registration process, please ensure that they have ALL required information for each athlete: Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Event(s).
• Each athlete may compete in up to three (3) individual events, plus a relay.
• No Change of events OR adding of a new event after the regular registration Deadline - 11:59 pm, Thursday, Apr 16.
• Refund Policy: There are no refunds, transfers or credits.
• Regular Fees: $10 (up to 3 individual events and a relay).
  Late fees: $20 for participants registering on Friday, Apr 17. Late registration closes at 1:00 pm, Friday, Apr 17.
• Day Permit Fee: Non-members pay additional Membership or Day Permit Fee of $1 ($5 participants in the NLAA open).
• Affiliated Schools & NLAA 2026 Competitive Members must enter their School Code or NLAA individual membership # under "Member ID:" to avoid the extra $1 Day Permit Fee charge. Eligible schools can follow this link to find out their School Code. 
  NO REFUNDS/NO CREDITS if you miss entering your school code or member ID.
  PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY SCHOOLS CURRENTLY AFFILIATED WITH THE NLAA ARE ELIGIBLE; STUDENTS FROM NON-AFFILIATED SCHOOLS MUST NOT ENTER THE SCHOOL CODES TO CLAIM DISCOUNTS.
  

All Relay Members must already be registered for an individual event OR register and pay for RELAY EVENT ONLY.

School/Club Coach must declare their RELAY TEAMS through the NLAA office by Thursday, Apr 16. Schools must complete the relay form and email it to athletics@nlaa.ca. Download fillable PDF form.

• RELAY EVENT ONLY: Athletes participating as part of a relay team, and that’s the only event they do, must register and pay on TrackieReg. To register, these athletes must select RELAY EVENT ONLY as an event. Athletes already registered in individual events and are part of a relay team MUST NOT register for a RELAY ONLY EVENT as an event.


• Confirmation: School should expect a prompt reply to confirm receipt, acknowledging their relay team registration. NLAA asks schools to resend the email or call (709) 576-1303 if they do not get a response within a reasonable time.
• NLAA will not accept any team registrations received after the registration deadline.
• An athlete can be a member of one relay team only. There is no limit to the number of athletes or relay teams a school/club can enter in an event.
• All participants must compete in their COMPETITION CATEGORY.

MEET DAY CHANGES:

• On a meet day, school/club coaches can use the RELAY TEAM ADJUSTMENT FORM inside the “Coach’s Package” to make a) substitutions with an eligible athlete(s), b) change relay running order, and c) report TEAM scratches.
• Relay Changes Period:
  • Morning Session 9:15 am - 9:30 am
  • Afternoon Session 3:30 pm - 3:45 pm
• Following the Relay Changes Period, relay teams that have altered the declared order or team members will be disqualified.
