Quick Facts & Team Rules

• Team members must be declared between Tuesday, February 27 and 3:59 pm, Saturday, June 22, 2024.
• There is no fee to enter a team. All team members must have valid race registration and a number assigned before joining the team competition.
• All team registrations must be done online.
• A runner can enter in one team only.
• A runner can only compete in one of the following Team Categories:
  1. Battle of the Badges (eligible force/detachment: Fire, RNC, RCMP, HMPCO, CAF, Sheriff’s Office)
  2. Corporate Team
     1. Female
     2. Male
     3. Mixed
  3. Open Team
     1. Female
     2. Male
     3. Mixed
  4. NLAA Club (participants must be registered members of NLAA and a Club affiliated with NLAA)
     1. Female
     2. Male
• Team Scoring is based on each athlete’s gender finishing position.
• All teams are comprised of up to six runners. Teams must have a minimum of 4 people on their team and are capped at a maximum of 6 people per team.
• Awards to top Team only: The first four finishers are to score, but all registered members of the 1^st place team in each category will receive an award.
• Mixed teams are comprised of a maximum of three male and three female runners. Mixed teams cannot exceed the maximum of 3 participants per gender.
• Battle of the Badges:
  • Teams entering the Battle of the Badges competition must be comprised of up to 6 runners, minimum of 4 to score.
  • Teams may be of a single-gender or mixed.
  • Mixed teams in the Battle of Badges are not required to have a minimum or a maximum number of participants in a gender. Teams can be comprised of up 6 females or 6 males or any other combination of 6 (minimum of 4 members to count).
  • Each force/detachment may have multiple teams.
