The Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association (NLAA) is inviting applications for regional coach and manager positions in each region part of the 2020 Newfoundland and Labrador Summer Games. The 2020 NL Summer Games will be hosted by the town of Bay Roberts, August 15-22, 2020, (Athletics August 19-22). These are volunteer positions and carry no remuneration. The Closing date for all positions is Monday, March 16, 2020.

Key responsibilities:

• Team Staff will recruit and select athletes to the regional team; organize regional qualifiers or selection competitions.
• Team Managers take charge of team administration, including uniform ordering and allocation, budget and finances, athlete and team registration, transportation, and other administrative items as required.
• Team Staff will maintain regular communication with parents and athletes.
• Coaches will organize weekly practices to prepare the athletes to achieve the best possible competitive results.
• Team Staff must travel with their regional team to and from Bay Roberts and are required to reside in the Athletes' Village.
• Coaches and Managers must be at least 19 years of age as of the day of the Games Opening Ceremonies.
